Benchmarking, Course Design, Budgeting

 

In addition to benchmarking types local leadership programs and types of leadership certificates offered by universities across the United States, programs in disaster and crisis management were benchmarked.  

 

From this benchmarking, four programs were identified whose direction seemed to best fit the capabilities and interests of the two Institutes. These four curricula along with the research of Naim Kapucu, Ph.D. (see link in references below) were evaluated to move toward developing the basic curriculum (course offerings, learning objectives and the evaluation) and price structure.
